Cami is still doing great! There hasn't been much change today. She is very tired and very groggy and still gets confused easily. Dr. Pritz has explained that she has been asleep for a few days and that she will eventually need a second surgery and Cami took the news very well, however I don't know that she fully understood what he was saying and that is a discussion we will probably need to have again later. He has also indicated that there will be some side affects, but that it is a little early to tell exactly what they will be. Right now just keep praying that she can relax, fall asleep, and rest.

ReplyDeleteCami - as if I'm not thinking about you enough lately, I'm watching Friends and it's the episode where Ross buys a couch and I can't stop thinking about how we used to quote this show all the time. PIVOT!
ReplyDeleteWe'll keep praying and you keep getting better!

ReplyDeletePraising God for your strength and healing, Cami! You and Seth are on our hearts and minds non-stop. Luke prays for you each night before bed. We are praying that you would continue to heal miraculously. I'm so glad and thankful to hear that things are going well. You're a fighter for sure...God is working out amazing things through your struggle, and I'm so proud of you for fighting through it. Seth too. A verse to encourage you today:
ReplyDelete"The Lord is my light and my salvation- so why should I be afraid? The Lord protects me from danger- so why should I tremble?...Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." Psalm 27:1 & 14
Love you! Holly, Collin & Luke
Praying for you Cami & Seth! I am a friend of Krista Weber's and I had my AVM removed in November of last year. What a privilege to be surrounded by such a great family of believers to be praying for you. My husband and I were so blessed by the encouragement and prayer of people around us last year. Know that God still works miracles and I am confident that he will bring you through this and any subsequent surgeries & recoveries for His glory. Cami, be patient with yourself as you recover, we are praying it will be speedy!

Our family has been lifting you and your husband and family up in prayer and are following the daily blogs to know how to pray. We know that God works in all things to bring about His good and His purpose though we aren't always sure what that good or purpose will be. Praying that His purpose for your trial will be revealed in ways we cannot imagine! The Propst Family (Neil, Jill, Kaylee, Sam, Caleb, and Elise)
ReplyDeleteWe are so happy to keep hearing good news! Seth, your hope and peace shows your strength. And Cami, we love you and we're praying for you.
