Not much new today. Cami was able to get out of bed a little today to use the restroom and take a shower. She still needed a lot of help to get around, but it was a big step. She has also been able to eat a little more today, although it has been mostly liquids and is still having some trouble with the solid foods. We originally thought we would be able to move to the rehab center today, but our goals is to know move on Monday.
We hope you all have a very merry Christmas, I'll let you know if anything changes.

I worked there for a little while and I know that there are some amazing therapists there that will help u start feeling more like your old self in no time. ReplyDeleteCami and Seth,
ReplyDeleteWe want to wish you a Merry Christmas and let you know we have been praying for you everyday. During this Christmas season of family and our Savior, we remember how precious it is to have people to share our ups and downs with, especially the ultimate healer our Lord God. We may not not be with you physically, but we continue to think about you guys and feel like we are with you thru this blog for every step of the healing process. We love you.

Though this may not seem like the merriest of Christmases, it will be the most memorable. I praise God that you have reason to celebrate LIFE instead of a tragic loss. What an awesome God and an awesome gift of our Savior, Jesus Christ for us all for all times!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas. We love you guys. We are traveling to Ohio today and will be there thru Friday. We'd love to come see you in your new "apartment" :) when we return. We'll call Seth to check before we show up. Praying for you continually. Thankful to have you today!

Merry Christmas Cami & Seth! So glad to hear you're up and moving, Cami. That's great progress! I'm always thinking about you! Love, Beka
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas from Lafayette! We've been following the blog daily and have been so grateful to hear the positive progress Cami has been able to make so far. It is truly an amazing example of the immense power of the healing hands of our Father. We had a friend from our Haiti trip spend time at RHI after an accident left him paralyzed from the waist down and the staff at RHI do an amazing job!! We pray that today is peaceful for you two as we all remember the power of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior. Hope to see you soon!

Dear Seth and Cami,
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! I am in Iowa right now, but will return to Indy on Friday. I believe RHI is only about 3 blocks from my house! I look forward to stopping by to see you sometime after the move. Thinking of you.

Seth & Cami,
ReplyDeleteWe are praising God continually for your continued progress. We want to wish you both a Merry Christmas!! We miss you both dearly and can't wait to visit when you feel up to it. I wanted to share a little story about you guys that Alan and I were remembering. Our first Sunday at Cornerstone, Alan and I scooted on into the row, a bit late as usual. As we gazed along the congregation we were encouraged to see a young couple just like us next to us in the same row. A kind gentlemen, (someone we would grow to know as Seth), and a vibrant, compassionate young woman (Cami) extended a warm welcome and invited us to stay and join their Sunday school class. That invitation touched our hearts and the instant connection is what brought us to our Church family at Cornerstone. Alan and I truly appreciate your friendship and enjoy the growth we have taken together as young believers. Looking forward to "growing old" with you guys and seeing what journeys the Lord carries us through.
Thank you for sharing your journey through this time and allowing us to lift you up as brothers and sisters in Christ! Love, The Siktbergs :) P.S. Nathaniel misses you too!!
