8:45 Update

Well there is some good news and some bad news for the day.  The good news is that the surgery is over for today.  The bad news is that due to the amount of time the surgery was taking and the amount of bleeding towards the end of the surgery, the doctors were not able to remove the AVM today and it will require another surgery.  Cami is being kept under sedation and they will not be waking her up until at least tomorrow morning.  They will run some more tests tomorrow and make some decisions based on what they discover at that point.  We really don’t know a lot of details right now, but I will be sure to keep you posted.

We covet your prayers now more than ever.  It will be a long night of waiting to find out more information and for Cami as she recovers.

Thanks again for your prayers.

Seth

  1. Know that we won't quit praying when the prayer list from today is ended. May you all be so tired that you get some sleep tonight.

  2. Hi Seth,
We've been following things all day and ME just talked to Lloyd. Our spiritual energy is being channeled your way. Maybe that's new age for praying. I don't know but trying to focus as much your way as we can and channeling seems to work. I feel sad that you and cami are having to go thru such trauma at your age. HanG in there give her our love and we hope and pray there'll be reason for great joy and jubilation by Christmas Eve.
    love and Peace, Parrish

  4. So the praying will continue for Cami, you, the family, and for the God given skill of the surgeon. Praying for the peace that only God can give. May you feel His caring presence as you wait.

  10. I'm so sorry to hear that Cami will need another surgery. I'm also thankful to know that the surgeon was wise enough to stop when necessary. Collin and I prayed last night for a miracle for Cami. God is working...even if it isn't exactly what we expected. We're also praying that you were/are able to get some rest after a long draining day. Matthew 11:28 "Then Jesus said, 'Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." Love you guys. - Holly
