Here is the latest on Cami. She made it through her first day here at RHI and did great. She was busy all day with different therapists and is tired, but made gains all day long. Another positive thing we took from today was that although she has a long ways to go, Cami is starting to see some improvements. She actually is feeling much more confidant and comfortable with some of the physical therapy, but is struggling a little more with some of the therapy that requires more mental stimulation. This is frustrating for Cami because she just has to think so much before doing anything and she still gets confused when trying to remember things.
There is not a lot of new news, but I will try to post a little each night after her therapy sessions. Please keep praying for Cami to be able to sleep at night and that her mental capabilities will return to normal quickly.
Thanks,
Seth
Seth,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all of the updates on Cami. Cami, we continue to pray so you can see/feel that you're improving every day. We pray that you have patience as you go through your therapy every day. It sounds like you are working very hard and have improved so much already! Keep it up! The Gaerkes.
thanks for the updates as we keep you and Cami in our prayers. Sounds like they will keep Cami busy and hopefully before long she will be home.

What a super day! This is great news! Praying continually for you!
ReplyDeleteCami and Seth -
ReplyDeleteI am thinking of you both and praying every day!!
I will pray for lots of good sleep and sweet dreams for Cami!!! That must be hard to have such new surroundings again, but glad to hear she is doing better. Please tell her Lindsay Williams says hello!
ReplyDeleteI think of Cami often throughout each day and continue prayers for both of you. Give her a hug for me ... a big one and with tears (loving tears) because we cannot hug without crying over something!!!

Luke Ambler, a current student, wanted to have you tell Mrs. Zook that "I love you and I hope you get to go home soon, and sometimes I have trouble remembering what I want to say too, so don't worry."
ReplyDeleteWe will continue to pray for you and your wife and everyone who is your support through all of this. Thank you for the postings, and please don't hesitate to ask for anything you need. Your wife has made Luke love second grade. she is a wonderful teacher.
