Monday Evening @ 5

Another thing to add to the prayer list: Cami's temperature has spiked which our nurses have indicated means there may be an infection of some sort.  They have started her on an antibiotic as a precaution pending bloodwork results.

Other than this, Cami's status has not changed very much today.  They have stopped the heavier sedation so she has had more brain activity, but she still isn't expected to completely come out of her coma for a few days as the medication that has stored up in her body wears off.

  1. Are you able to leave the hospital to ...work, ...eat, ...exercise, ...scream? Along with being there for her, your other job right now is to stay healthy and strong for her.
Breathe non-hospital air, drive a ways into the country, let a puppy lick you in the face, but stay away from the "waiting room blues."
Make someone MAKE YOU leave the waiting room, if only to walk, every few hours. Praying for you both.

  3. Hi Seth,
I have taken over Cami's class while she is out. I just wanted to let you know I am really praying hard for you both right now. I completely agree with the above comment, too! Make sure you are taking care of yourself, that will allow you to better care for Cami as she is coming out of the coma. If you don't want to do it for yourself, do it for Cami. You seem to be such a loyal husband to Cami, she is incredibly lucky to have you by her side. Stay strong, there are lots of people praying for you!

  5. We are praying for you and Cami everyday. Cami is strong and young and that is in her favor with Gods help all is possible. Psalm 121 is my favorite I drew strength from it when I was sick, I hope it helps you. Becky and Gary LaRoche
